Intramurals on Monday, March 27 were a blast. We can see a huge improvement in the skill even after just 2 games. Way to go students! Keep it up.
The Bulls are now the only undefeated team after 3 games. On Monday the Bulls defeated the Sixers by the score of 20-12. Luke Washington & Robert Guthrie were the high scorers with 12 a piece. The second place Cavs defeated the Lakers by the score of 25-10. The high scorer of the game was Janise Ford with 9 points. The "hacker" of the day was Demetrius Edwards who fouled out with 5 fouls on the day. Way to go D.E.!! Great job students on another fine day of intramural basketball.

What a blast we had JUMPING ROPE!!!

On Saturday, March CRPS had around 30 students and parents show up for our first ever Jump Rope for Heart Event. We exercised "circuit" training style for 30 minutes with parents participating as well. The parents did a wonderful job and have some pretty good skills as you can see in the pictures. The students and parents learned about how often they should be physically active and how to check their heart rate during exercise. For the last 30 minutes of the program, the parents went with Truly Gannon for a Nutrition Seminar and the students stayed in the gym and participated in a few jump rope games with "Limbo" being one of them. Thanks to all the volunteers who helped to make this possible: Ben Malen, Christina Davis, Yogesh Kenney, Fred, Truly Gannon, Ms. Glenda and all the parents who brought there children. Let's build on this and have an even better program next year. Mr. G
